Froy Gutierrez confirms Ryan will appear in The Strangers: Chapter 2

Despite his sad demise at the end of The Strangers: Chapter 1, Froy Gutierrez has confirmed that Ryan will still make an appearance in The Strangers: Chapter 2 when it releases later this year.
The Strangers Trilogy was filmed over 52 days in October of 2022, and as it was treated as one big movie, all of the cast were on set whether they appear in a certain chapter or not. Meaning actors like Froy who are key in Chapter 1, were still around when scenes were being filmed for Chapters 2 and 3, so it only makes sense that Froy will make a small appearance whether it’s a flashback or as a vision to Maya.
Speaking with US Weekly last year at the premiere of Chapter 1, Froy confirmed that we would be seeing Ryan on screen against when Chapter 2 hits the big screen in a few months.
“Well, I can definitely say that you’ll see [Ryan] in the second movie, for sure”
How Ryan will be incorporated into the ongoing story we’ll just have to wait and see but we can probably guess he’ll either be in flashbacks or appearing for Maya in dream sequences or visions, supporting her as she deals with the ongoing stalking and torment at the hands of the Strangers.
The Strangers: Chapter 2 is in theatres on September 26th, 2025
The Strangers: Chapter 2 is set to hit theatres on September 26th, 2025 and will follow Maya becoming entangled in the Strangers world as their torment continues whilst Maya struggles with who she can trust in a town full of Strangers where any of three of them want her dead.
The Strangers: Chapter 2 stars Madelaine Petsch, reprising her role as Maya from Chapter 1. Richard Brake, Rachel Shenton, Gabriel Basso, Ema Horvath, Janis Ahern, J.R. Esposito, Brooke Lena Johnson, Pablo Sandstrom, Florian Clare, Jamie Taylor Ballesta, and Nola Wallace also star.
