‘The Strangers’ – 3, 4, and 5 on the Way!

The Strangers are back! Or at least that’s what we’re being told.

You’ll remember a few months ago we reported that a company named Sweetpea Entertainment had bought the rights to The Strangers franchise with the intention to “make more entries in the franchise”. This news was given to us by an anonymous source who didn’t have much other information however they did state that it was unlikely we’d see Damian Maffei, Lea Enslin, or Emma Bellomy return to their roles as The Man in the Mask, Pin-Up Girl, and Dollface. The news went quiet for a while, until today.

Bloody Disgusting, who as we all know is one of the Number 1 horror sources around, had a chance to speak with Roy Lee, who discovered the original Strangers script from Bryan Bertino, on their podcast, and he shared a piece of news that made all Strangers fans fall off the edge of their seats.

“I think the next three are in production next month with another filmmaker that people will know”

This was told to Bloody Disgusting exclusively, and whilst not 100% confirmation, I think it’s safe to assume we are getting The Strangers 3, 4 and 5! Almost like a Netflix Fear Street scenario.
