Played by Madelaine Petsch and Froy Gutierrez
Doubled by Matus Lajcak, Olivia Kreutzova, and Letizia Fabbri
The three masked Strangers we all know and love from the last two films, albeit a name change for The Man in the Mask, who have a greater depth and more screen time
(especially for Pin-Up Girl). They are back to their usual antics, scaring our protagonists and trying to kill them whatever chance they get. Their motives and identities are still unknown, left to be discovered in a future chapter.
The “city slick real estate agent” in Venus, Oregon. His time on-screen is short lived as he finds himself the first on-screen victim of The Strangers before the opening titles roll. I imagine there is more to his story than what we’ve seen so far as Ryan has made comments about him not being a “good guy” and that he “loves a bit of Charlie”.
Played by Ben Cartwright and Stevee Davies
The town mechanics who weren’t shy to keeping a watchful eye on Maya and Ryan as they arrive in town, and were in no rush to repair their car. They get along well with the locals, sharing drinks with them during the night and offering Maya and Ryan the location for an Airbnb they could stay in. Rudy had no issue issuing a threat to Ryan too.
Played by Richard Brake and Pedro Leandro
We only see them for a brief moment as they share a few antagonistic glances with Maya and Ryan as they enter the diner. We can only imagine what they’ll get up to in Chapters 2 and 3.
Played by Janis Ahern and Sara Freedland
Carol is the owner of the diner and Annie is one of her waitresses. Carol is seemingly welcoming to the couple but doesn’t appreciate the alterations to her menu and Annie is how you’d expect any waitress to be. There could be something suspicious about them but we won’t know until the later chapters.
Another waitress at Carol’s Diner, Shelly is probably the most welcoming to the couple — serving them and offering to drive them to their Airbnb after she gets off her shift. There is certainly more to Shelly that meets the eye. I have my theories but I’ll hold off on sharing that for now.
Played by Rafaella Biscayn and Pablo Sandstrom
One of the local couples. Eden and Neil have been married for two years and were not shy to show it off. They weren’t very happy to find out that Maya and Ryan had been together for five years and still not married. We later see them enjoying a nightcap with Dougie and Annie outside Larry and Lucy’s burger joint — inviting Ryan to join them, which he declines. Something is definitely going on with them.
Played by Alexander Markland and Dominic Kotuc
We see the mormon boys watching Maya and Ryan as they arrive in town — and then offering them a pamphlet on sins and Christian living and asking them if they were “sinners”.
Played by Rachel Shenton and George Young
Debbie is Maya’s sister and Howard is her husband. Howard technically wasn’t seen on-screen but at the time we meet them they are having a party which Maya witnesses over FaceTime. No doubt they’ll be paying a visit to Venus, Oregon to check in on Maya following the attack.
Played by Rebecka Johnston and Czukor Balazs
Lucy and Larry are two locals who own the local burger joint called “Lucy and Larry’s”, we meet them very briefly as Ryan purchases dinner from them and Lucy offers him another pamphlet on Christian living.
Played by Satko Stanislav
Seen very briefly, Joe suffered a similar fate to Mike in the original film. An innocent man who came to fix a broken refrigerator and wound up being shot to death by Ryan after mistaking him for a Stranger.
Voiced by Brooke Lena Johnson
There are still plenty of characters we are yet to meet, namely: Gregory (played by Gabriel Basso), Jasmine (played by Ella Bruccoleri), Doctor Tate (played by J.R. Esposito), Nurse Danica, Richard the Orderly (played by Holden McNeil), Billy Bufford (played by Joplin Sibtain), Chris Sampson (played by Florian Clare), Wayne (played by Milo Moses Callahgan), the EMT Driver (played by Brian Law), Marcus (played by Miles Yekinni) and Milo (played by Andrew Boyer). We will meet all of them across Chapters Two and Three.
