The Strangers: Chapter 2 arriving in April?

A Cineplex Company from Thailand has seemingly confirmed the release period for The Strangers: Chapter 2.
It’s a long awaited update for fans, but it seems we may finally have a confirmed release for The Strangers: Chapter 2 thanks to an update from Major Cineplex, a Thailand-based cineplex known for “Sharing The World’s Best Entertainment Dreams”.
In a tweet (linked above) put out earlier today, they announced the release of five films in the first half of this year. Amongst the slate of films, including Mark Wahlberg’s Flight Risk and The Monkey, they state that The Strangers: Chapter 2 was coming in April 2025, no day announced just yet.
The above tweet translates to:
“Mongkol Major serves big 5 highlight movies of the first half of 2025. See you at Major Cineplex.
  • Flight Risk releases on January 23.
  • The Monkey releases February 27.
  • Levon’s Trade opens in March.
  • The Strangers: Chapter 2 releases in April.
  • From the World of John Wick: Ballerina opens in June.”

I don’t typically tend to follow the word of anyone other than Lionsgate, but lo and behold, Lionsgate actually follow the Major Group on Twitter/X, leading me to believe that this information may in fact be true! Additionally, it was Australian Distributor, Kismet, who gave us our first real confirmation that the film had been delayed to 2025 in the first place.
For now it’s just a rumour, but I’d say there is a good chance this information is true, and hopefully we’ll get a full trailer and new marketing soon! What do you think Strangers? Are we getting Chapter 2 in April? Let me know your thoughts on Instagram!
