'The Strangers: Chapter 2' - First look at SDCC

Madelaine Petsch, Gabriel Basso, Renny Harlin, and Courtney Solomon are rolling up to San Diego Comic Con to give us our first look at The Strangers: Chapter 2.

I’ll admit, I was thrown when I heard this because the schedule was posted weeks ago and there was no sign that Lionsgate would be doing any promotion for the trilogy at San Diego this time around. But luckily, I was wrong and they were able to find time to stop by and share with eager fans their first look at to expect for Chapter 2 and beyond.

The Strangers, Chapter 2 is creeping onto the scene with a special one-hour panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 4:15pm PDT in Ballroom 20. Madelaine Petsch and Gabriel Basso will be there alongside director Renny Harlin and producer Courtney Solomon to talk terror, sequels, and what’s lurking in Chapter 3.

I, for one, am actually very excited to see Gabriel getting involved in the press for this trilogy. I’m very curious to hear his thoughts on the trilogy and hopefully he’ll delve into a little about how he got involved with it and what he’s looking forward to. His interview style is very different to majority of other actors so I know he’s going to have some unique points and views on his time filming the trilogy.

Expect behind-the-scenes reveals, a closer look at the sequel, and maybe a few answers (or new questions) about what’s waiting in the shadows. And hey, if you’re around — feel free to DM me some updates as it’s going. You know I love a good scoop!
