PLOT OVERVIEW

Following the wedding of a friend, couple Kristen McKay (Liv Tyler) and James Hoyt (Scott Speedman) find themselves at odds when Kristen rejects James’ marriage proposal. They return to James’ family summer home where they settle in for the night, planning to drive home in the morning where they will go their separate ways.

The couple are met with a knock on the door at 4 a.m. where a woman asks them if Tamara is home. After turning her away, James leaves Kristen alone to clear his head and she is met with a series of coincidences ending with finding a masked man and two masked women tormenting her outside the house.

With the couple trapped in the house with no connection to the outside world, they find their remote getaway turning into a psychological night of terror as the three masked strangers invade. Now they must go far beyond what they thought capable of if they hope to survive an attack by three masked strangers who seemingly have no motive other than because they were home.
