The Strangers >> Filming Locations

Thanks to a few different internet entities, I’ve been able to compile this list of filming locations for where The Strangers was filmed. Sadly, for some locations I cannot publish locations as they are just not public knowledge and thus, I am choosing to respect the privacy of the owners.

James's and Kristen's House

This house, located somewhere in Timmonsville, South Carolina, checked all the boxes for the production team to film there. The exterior of the house was used for all scenes filmed outside, whereas the interior was constructed on a sound stage.

The address of the house is unknown, but the owners still live there after all these years and have a photo album full of photos of production which they have shared with fans who have stopped by.

There are a few people who have the address of the home, but if you do find yourself there, ensure you respect the privacy of the owners.

The Wedding Reception

Featured in various flashbacks, the wedding reception was filmed at the Pee Dee Shrine Club and Hilton Garden Inn in Florence, South Carolina. These buildings are still around today, and can be found, respectively, at 3053 Crescent Circle and 2671 Hospitality Boulevard.
