Exclusive: Read "The Strangers: Prey at Night" Script

If you recall, for the longest time I’ve made scripts available from former Strangers films available on the site including the draft of the first film and the original draft of The Strangers 2 before it became Prey at Night over 10 years later.

Since the conception of this site everything I’ve done has been for the fans and I’ve been trying for the longest time to get the Prey at Night script for fans to read so we can see what differed from page to screen and read deleted scenes that never made it into the final cut of the film.

I got in contact with a few different actors and producers from the film — a few no longer had their scripts, a few blatantly saw the message and ignored me, many just never got back to me, and a few tried to find their scripts but weren’t able to. But finally, when I thought the search was over, the legend himself Damian Maffei was able to send me the Blue and Yellow Revisions of the Prey at Night script, and now it’s available to you, the fans!

It’s interesting to note that at the time of this re-write, it was still classified as “The Strangers 2”, and by Blue Revisions it means a rewrite of the initial script that Bryan Bertino wrote back in 2009. This confirms that Prey at Night really is a sequel, even if it took them 10 years to make. I highly encourage you to read the original draft first before these new drafts so you can see what changed and what elements were kept.

I’m proud to say that this is the first time this script is being made available online and to the public and that it is an exclusive to IsTamaraHome.net, a site that was so small when it started but has grown so much and it’s all thanks to you, the fans, and this script is just a small token of my appreciation for your support of the site and the franchise!
